My personal pandemic experience
The Covid 19 pandemic has disrupted our lives for the majority of the last year. As a result of the outbreak of this disease, millions of people have become ill or died. People died, livelihoods were disrupted, and education was harmed. Governments restricted public meetings early in the pandemic to keep the disease from spreading and breaking the exponential distribution curve. Severe countries quarantined their citizens to prevent the spread of this highly contagious disease. Despite the grim outlook, we have witnessed stories of hope, courage, triumph, and mutual kindness.
I created a schedule for myself, completed all of the required assignments, and attempted to seek help from my classmates/teacher when I did not understand the task. I mostly played video games, watched shows (anime, movies, etc.), read (books, light novels, mangas), and rushed through my modules to have more time to relax. I wasn't stressed because all I did was laze around; I was only stressed when I had too much work to do. I was able to overcome my anxiety by exercising, playing, and reading books. I did not have anyone to lean on for emotional support back then, not even friends, and I was very lonely, and my family doesn't talk about feelings because we were all fighting our own battles. Music, games, inspiration from my idols, and discipline kept me going even when I tripped several times.
I allowed myself to feel pain. Allowing my emotions to flow and accepting my feelings, I accepted the situation and decided to proceed when I was ready, one step at a time. Take each day as it comes and strive to become true self. I never gave up and kept running, walking, crawling until I conquered it. I also worked out to improve my mental health and strength in order to overcome more difficult challenges in the future.
